French Vintage and Parisienne - Kate Moss on Trend

Kate Moss is generally on trend and in the thick of things, so it comes as no surprise that she is adding to her portfolio a new fragrance called Vintage.

Beautifully classical, I hope "Vintage" fragrance lives up to the styling and name.

Also being promoted by Kate Moss, Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne.

Trend Alert - Pink with Chocolate

OK it's been around for a little while but it's starting to beat pink and black hands down in the girly design stakes. It's softer, more organic looking and so much prettier, and less "overt" than pink and black.

Im not sure where all the these images are from - but I have collected them over a period of time to refer back to when I am working on fragrance and beauty product packaging with a vintage edge. I find that the past holds the key to the future in design, if we can figure out why it moves us still, we can take those elements, clean them up, add to the soul of the design and build on it.
