No self-respecting style or design blog would be complete without a mention of this simply tres chic campaign by Chanel. Lily Allen, in my opinion is perfectly suited to a modern day Holly Golightly, albeit a slightly more street-smart version. Truman Capote would approve.
Lily Allen is the face of Chanel’s “Coco Cocoon” Line: the stylish British singer has been chosen by Chanel to head the campaign with bags from their new line of cushioned bags.
Styles in this new range include a shopping bag, bowling bag, suit bag and a trolley bag, in fabrications of nylon or lambskin and colour options of black, beige, chocolate, burgundy, taupe, grey, gold and red!
Available now in CHANEL boutiques.

Stylish Ladurée of Paris
Ladurée made the pastries for the film Marie Antoinette, directed by Sofia Coppola; its famous macarons can be seen in a scene between Marie-Antoinette and Ambassador Mercy.
The flagship tea rooms are located on Ladurée Champs Elysées and there are numerous locations across France and worldwide.
I am besotted with the look of the brand, it is so delightfully french, exquisitely sweet, and so chic.
Visit Ladurée on the most beautiful avenue in the world, Ladurée creates famous macaroons, desserts, pastries and other desserts. Decor is designed by Jacques GarciaLadurée Champs Elysées75, avenue des Champs Elysées - 75008 ParisTel: 01.40.75.08.75 - Fax: 01.40.75.06.75

Certain motifs are incredibly laborious to reproduce by hand, such as the “Méchants oiseaux”, or virtually impossible such as the lacework in the “Cocotte” ..."
